Project Progress: Spirit Lake in Aitkin County (MN)

This lake home overlooking Spirit Lake in Aitkin County (MN) is well underway! The project started on July 15th, 2025 with tree removal. After sculpting the sloped area of this beautiful lake parcel to allow for construction of this slab on grade home, we installed concrete frost footings and masonry foundation walls before completing all the electrical and mechanical below-slab rough-in work, including in-floor radiant heat tubing.

After pouring the slab, the rough framing and sheathing was completed in early September. Our team of mechanical and electrical subcontractors completed their above ground rough-in work before the roofing steel was installed on September 15th. With the winter months fast approaching, and window delivery scheduled for early October, we plan to move onto the window and exterior door installation, siding and flashing, and other exterior work while drywall and insulation work is being completed.  See photos of the project below and make sure to contact Saterdalen & Associates, LLC to discuss your future building project!
